I can’t wait for this little baby to meet her canine friends. I grew up with dogs and think it is so beneficial for a child’s development. We’ll have to be careful at first, especially with Fry because he is just so big. He’s in no way vicious though. He’s the biggest sook I’ve ever met.
Ever since I started having morning sickness our outings have reduced in frequency dramatically! Being anywhere near food was disgusting, so we’ve spent a lot more time at home with these delightful creatures…and I don’t regret it at all. I love them. Life is great.

7 weeks to go!

6 May

We’re getting pretty nervous around here. We’re having a little girl around the end of June.

I thought I should start blogging again because there is no way I want to forget a second of her life.

Apollo Bay

23 Sep

We stayed in Apollo Bay on the second last night of our Victorian adventure. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed!

Its called Whitecrest, and It was beautiful.

I had always wanted to stay in an apartment with the bed on the second level, but more of a balcony style then just a second floor. I dont know why that appeals to me so much, but it didn’t disappoint. It was the perfect end to our holiday… we cooked dinner inside that night, drank lots of tea and watched music max’s best movie soundtrack countdown… yup, we are an exciting couple 🙂

It was the middle of Winter, in what is supposed to be the coldest place on the mainland of Australia… but I couldn’t help going outside at night to look at the rabbits, congregated down near the driveway. We don’t have rabbits up here, in Brisbane.

Ill always remember this place.

We didnt stay long the next day. We chased the sunrise all the way to Geelong.

30 Aug

I want this for my future child’s room.

Painting Alice.

30 Aug

I’ve been meaning to get my paints out for, literally months, but I could never think of something worth painting. That is, untill I was searching ‘cocker spaniels’ on Etsy, and found a few silhouetted pictures of them. I really wanted to paint one of Alice.

So I did!

I’m going to paint Fry next!

Mister Fry.

24 Aug

Forgive the awful quality, but I didn’t have much time to get these photos-

he would’ve jumped down if he thought I was moving about behind him.

Fry is such a protective dog!

He was so scared when we first got him but he’s gained alot of confidence, and is always hanging near the doors or windows and barking at the neighbours. I like it.

He’d scare anyone away!

I love him so much, he’s such a sweet-hearted boy.
